
Why the Medical Imaging Certificates Program?
The Medical Imaging Certificate program offers the certified Radiologic Technologist the opportunity to receive a certificate a specific modality within sixteen weeks.
All coursework and clinical practice must be completed and documented within the registered (one) semester to receive a certificate of completion.
Students who complete the Medical Imaging Certificate Program(s) will be able to register for their Certificate in Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR), and/or Mammography (M) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Program Goals
Upon graduation from the program, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of specialized medical imaging.
- Describe appropriate technical factors and safety measures while applying accurate positioning.
- Deepen student core competencies within the context of advanced imaging healthcare professions.
- Prepare written reports on atypical cases in advanced imaging and present the reports orally.
- Use problem-solving and critical thinking skills in advanced imaging to identify and explain non-routine examinations.
